Job Offer: Elum Energy, Sales Manager

Are you from South Africa or the SADC region and passionate about renewable energies?

Elum Energy is looking for a talented, passionate and creative Sales Manager - sharing their passion for renewable energies - to help them build tomorrow's electricity grid! As Sales Manager, you will be based in Cape Town and tasked with ensuring the commercial development of the solar power plant control activity in the SADC region, enjoying a large autonomy to perform new sales. You are joining an ambitious team in a growing company at a stage where everything is still to be built.

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Manager:
● Development and implementation of the commercial strategy
● Carrying out technical and commercial offers
● Conducting commercial and financial negotiations until the order is placed
● Management of customer accounts and/or associated partners
● Account management with the main distributor (Rubicon) and installers in the country

Required skills: 

● 5 years+ of experience in the solar industry (or related)
● Master in Business / Engineering school
● Written and spoken English & Afrikaans language skills
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Knowledge in Renewable Energies (storage technologies, solar production)
● Interpersonal and diplomatic skills (ability to collaborate with and gain the trust of members of the management team
● Curiosity, problem solving and a team player, willing to take risks and face challenges on a daily basis
● Fast learning
● Autonomy
