Executive Assistant for a global group based in Cape Town

Provide a comprehensive business administration support service for a Group CEO in a multi-business, multi-country group.

Maximise your extensive executive assistant experience to organise multiple country meetings, compile minutes, compile complex reports and summary documents and ensure that all actions required are completed. Manage information flow accurately and timeously. Utilise your fluency in verbal and written French and English for effective communication – written and verbal. You need to master a keen understanding of this complex, multi-service global company in order to execute your responsibilities effectively.


Location: Cape Town


Purpose: To provide a comprehensive Executive Assistant (not a Personal Assistant / Secretary) service to the Group CEO, enabling him to be effective and informed about all matters, due to your insight and understanding of the business and priority actions.


Country: ZA


Minimum requirements: At least 10+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant to a CEO, Group CEO of Chairperson of a global, multi-national private sector company.  FLUENT in business and conversational French and English (your capabilities will be tested).  Competent in “running” the office and supporting this high - profile Executive.  Competent in providing comprehensive meeting services, creating reports and summaries of priorities of the business, creating and compiling minutes and accurate translation in both languages.  Competent in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel for tables, formulae, spreadsheets, extraction of data and attention to detail is critical.  Efficient in making travel arrangements and scheduling multi-country, multi-culture meetings.


Additional comments:
You will be exposed to much confidential information and your ability to be discreet, trusted and pro-active is critical.  You will be a critical contact person to Executives of this global business, facilitating effective written and verbal communication.  Being culturally informed and sensitive is critical.
