FSACCI platinum member The African Story Teller supports the Ashinaga African Initiative

 

Join FSACCI platinum member The African Story Teller in their efforts to support Ashinaga Uganda to sustain its leadership training programme for Ashinaga Initiative scholars. 

Due to the current global pandemic, Ashinaga African Initiative (AAI) preparatory camps in Uganda have been running remotely with students being supported from their different home countries across sub-Saharan Africa. Due to the cancellation of bokin (street fundraising) in Japan, Ashinaga had to find new source of donations to sustain its activities. Ashinaga’s collaboration with The African Story Teller and is an opportunity to run a joint fundraising event to support the Ashinaga Uganda office.

The Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) is an international leadership program that cultivates the next generation of leaders to contribute to the development of sub-Saharan Africa. AAI Scholars have lost one or both parents and are committed to returning to sub-Saharan Africa to initiate change, innovation, and development. The AAI provides financial support for international university degrees, along with leadership training and support to develop Scholars into compassionate changemakers.
